Happy chat day, everyone. It’s our first chat since the regular season began, and it’s fresh off a 4-0 victory over Toronto last night. The Yankees are 3-2 and have a couple of more games at Yankee Stadium against the Jays before departing for the club’s first road trip.

There’s not too much to glean from five games, though it’s evident that the bottom of the order is worrisome. That’ll be less of a concern once the rest of the offense gets going, of course. Meanwhile, the pitching has been unequivocally terrific. The Yanks have the league’s third lowest ERA in the very early going, and it’s been nice to see such a performance against juggernaut lineups like Boston and Toronto.

We can talk about the first five games and anything else on your mind when today’s chat begins at noon eastern. As always, you can submit your questions ahead of time below. See you in a bit.

Leave Nestor in the rotation and put German in the pen. Decent chance German’s stuff will play up. Let’s find out.
