Randy, Matt, and Derek return after a long weekend to discuss what’s been a rough stretch of play for the Yankees. The trio break down all that has gone wrong for the lineup, including disappointing seasons for DJ LeMahieu and Gleyber Torres. They also talk about the catching situation and Gary Sánchez’s better hitting, especially compared to Kyle Higashioka, of late. As bad as the offense has been, the guys also talk pitching. There’s a lot of uncertainty around Corey Kluber, who’s in the midst of getting second and third opinions on his shoulder. There’s also the struggling Jameson Taillon. Lastly, they answer one mailbag question before wrapping up.
