The Views from 314ft Podcast Episode 42: Finally, some news

Randy, Matt, and Derek finally have something to talk about in this week’s episode. The trio break down the DJ LeMahieu and Corey Kluber signings, particularly the merits of Kluber vs. other rotation options. They also discuss the Yankees’ crowded 40-man situation and what future moves could be in store. The episode wraps up with everyone’s reaction to now ex-Mets GM Jared Porter sending unsolicited and explicit text messages to a female reporter.

Rounding Out the Edges

Corey Kluber and the difficulty to build a good rotation

So, he did this three years ago, and she says “me too” now? Guess he was supposed to make a lot more money now, and she was brave enough to wait.

No judging here but the Mets/Porter story is so typically Mets. There’s always something that has to go wrong. I liked that Cohen acted fast though and fired him right away.
