Randy and Derek get together to go over an eventful previous week for the Yankees. We discuss the miscues the Yankees had as they were swept by the Rays, including some curious decision making by manager Aaron Boone. That leads to breaking down the latest injuries to the roster, including James Paxton, Zack Britton, and Gleyber Torres. We analyzed how well-suited the team is to internally handle these openings, or if trades are needed. As this is the last podcast before the trade deadline, there are some specific discussions on pitchers like Mike Clevinger, Lance Lynn, and Taijuan Walker (among others).
