Bobby makes his triumphant return to the podcast to join Matt and Randy for this week’s episode. We address the civil unrest in the country, MLB’s response to said unrest, and we turn our attention to the ongoing negotiations for MLB to start their season. We understand the “stick to sports” call for some, but we’re not doing that.

We are adhering to the shelter in place guidelines of New York State and recording remotely. We will be doing so for as long as the “shelter in place” order remains. We’re talking over Skype so we apologize in advance for any sound quality issues.

The podcast is now available on Apple PodcastsSpotify, and Stitcher so please subscribe, drop a five-star rating, and spread the word. We are working on having the podcast on Stitcher as well. We hope this gives you some distraction from all the craziness in the world right now. Here are the episode notes:

[Introduction]: The Blog Brothers discuss Randy’s tweet thread going viral.

[7:30]: We discuss the MLB statement on George Floyd and the protests.

[23:20]: The Yankees put out a Nelson Mandela quote.

[34:30]: MLB and the MLBPA continue their negotiations. We jump into the latest news.

[53:30] The draft is drastically changing.

Again, we apologize for any sound quality issues. We’re making the most of a tough situation as all of you are. Please don’t forget to subscribe to the pod and spread the word.

We hope you and your families remain safe and healthy. See you again next week.
