Today marks the Yankees’ fifth double header this season. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty tired of these. I bet the players are too. News & Notes

  • Doesn’t sound very likely that we’ll see James Paxton again this year. Might be the end of his career with the Yankees, too. (Bryan Hoch)
  • In a little better news: the returns of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are could be back next weekend. Aaron Boone originally said this weekend, but later clarified. Sigh. (Hoch)
  • Brooks Kriske is the Yankees’ 29th man today.

YES, WFAN, and WADO have the call for today’s 4:05 p.m. EDT first pitch. Game two will start around 30-45 minutes after the culmination of the first. Happy Friday, everyone.
