Miggy is in the lineup over Brett Gardner tonight.

The Yankees haven’t had much trouble with the Red Sox for the past two nights. Tonight, the Bombers can complete the sweep and send Boston out of the Bronx in a tailspin. That’d be a desirable outcome, wouldn’t you say?

Now, as great as a sweep would be, it would be even better to see a healthy and effective James Paxton. I3t’ll be hard for the lefty to do much worse than he did in the first start of his season against Washington. His velocity was down and his mechanics were noticeably off, as Bobby broke down previously. All eyes will be on The Big Maple tonight. Here’s the lineup he’ll face and the lineup behind him:

Boston Red Sox (3-6)

  1. Kevin Pillar, LF
  2. Rafael Devers, 3B
  3. J.D. Martinez, DH
  4. Xander Bogaerts, SS
  5. Christian Vázquez, DH
  6. Michael Chavis, 1B
  7. Kevin Plawecki, C
  8. Jackie Bradley Jr., CF
  9. José Peraza, 2B

RHP Austin Brice

New York Yankees (6-1)

  1. DJ LeMahieu, 2B
  2. Aaron Judge, RF
  3. Gleyber Torres, SS
  4. Giancarlo Stanton, DH
  5. Aaron Hicks, CF
  6. Luke Voit, 1B
  7. Gary Sánchez, C
  8. Gio Urshela, 3B
  9. Miguel Andújar, LF

LHP James Paxton

There’s potential for some thunderstorms in the area tonight, but not when the game is supposed to begin. Hopefully those hold off and we don’t have to endure our third rain delay of the year, especially on a Sunday night. First pitch on ESPN, WFAN, and WADO is set for 7:08 p.m. EDT. Enjoy the game.
