Things are pretty good in Yankeeland right now, huh? Last night marked the team’s seventh straight win in the midst of a week that the team has added Giancarlo Stanton, Edwin Encarnación, and Aaron Judge to the lineup. Just look at what this has done for the team’s division title odds:

Obviously there’s plenty of season remaining, but this is good. Very good.
Another win tonight would give the Yankees a series victory in this weekend’s four game set. Masahiro Tanaka, who threw a two-hit shutout in his last outing, will oppose veteran southpaw Wade Miley. Here are the lineups they’ll face:
Astros (48-29)
- José Altuve, 2B
- Alex Bregman, SS
- Michael Brantley, LF
- Yordan Alvarez, DH
- Yuli Gurriel, 3B
- Josh Reddick, RF
- Tyler White, 1B
- Max Stassi, C
- Jake Marisnick, CF
LHP Wade Miley
Yankees (48-27)
- DJ LeMahieu, 2B
- Aaron Judge, RF
- Luke Voit, 1B
- Giancarlo Stanton, LF
- Edwin Encarnación, DH
- Aaron Hicks, CF
- Didi Gregorius, SS
- Gio Urshela, 3B
- Austin Romine, C
RHP Masahiro Tanaka
Notes:
- Gary Sánchez and Gleyber Torres have the day off. It’s regular rest, nothing more.
- The Yankees are playing a man short this evening. Instead of putting Cameron Maybin on the injured list immediately, they’ll wait until tomorrow. The move will depend on the team’s pitching needs after today’s game.
- Domingo German appears on track to return against the Mets on either July 2nd or 3rd. He’ll make a rehab start in Triple-A next week.
- The Yankees and Red Sox will be permitted a 26th roster spot, designated for a position player only, for the London Series. Both teams can also bring two other players on the trip in case a roster move needs to be made.
First pitch is scheduled for 7:15pm at Yankee Stadium. It’s a beatiful day in New York which will continue into tonight. You can watch on FOX or listen to WFAN for the broadcast.

According to @EliasSports , Wilkin Castillo (10 years, 2 days) is the first player with 10+ years between RBI since Jerome Williams went 10 years, 347 days, from Sept. 11, 2003 (w/ SF at SD) and Aug. 24, 2014 (w/ PHI, vs. STL). #Marlins

It’s been a great stretch. Only way it could be better is if the Sox lost a couple more games. Currently right behind the twins for best record in AL.
