Game 65: Takeaways From The Yankees vs. Mets

  1. Ryan

Kendrys finally gets a base hit & RBI and then struggles mightily defensively. Just brutal. Oof.

  2. Alonso can flick a home run to Right-Center in Dodge Stadium. I expect a 3 Home Run day for him in YS3

    • Some thoughts are best kept to oneself, Tom.

      • With every passing moment, the realization that our existence is but a blink of an eye in the greater picture of the universe sets in.

        • ….but boy, its a beautiful day for a ballgame isn’t it? Lets play 2!!

          • Nihilism and Mets fandom do go hand in hand.

For me, I’ll take two Yankee wins to distract me from the abyss that awaits us all.

    • RetroRob

Pundits predicted 70+ HRs from Stanton because of his great power, and moving from Miami (one of the most difficult HR parks to Yankee Stadium, one of the easiest.) Didn’t happen

MLB pitchers are very good at containing even the most dangerous hitters.
