That first game stunk, huh? It was bad baseball from the Yankees all-around for 6 1/2 innings. A four run ninth made it interesting, but it was just too little too late (Ángel Hernández didn’t help either). Oh well. Time to wipe the slate clean and start a new win streak. Here are tonight’s lineups:
New York Yankees (8-2)
- DJ LeMahieu, 2B
- Aaron Judge, RF
- Gleyber Torres, SS
- Giancarlo Stanton, DH
- Luke Voit, 1B
- Mike Tauchman, CF
- Gary Sánchez, C
- Gio Urshela, 3B
- Miguel Andújar, LF
RHP Jonathan Loaisiga
Philadelphia Phillies (2-3)
- Adam Haseley, CF
- Rhys Hoskins, DH
- Bryce Harper, RF
- Didi Gregorius, SS
- Jean Segura, 3B
- Jay Bruce, LF
- Scott Kingery, 2B
- Neil Walker, 1B
- Andrew Knapp, C
RHP Aaron Nola
Aaron Hicks gets the night off in favor of Tauchman while the rest of the lineup looks like the A-team. On the Phils’ side, Harper must be OK after he was checked out after his last at-bat and removed from the field later.
The first game ended a little before 7, so this one should start around 7:30 p.m. EDT. It’s on YES, WFAN, and WADO. Enjoy the nightcap everyone.

I just knew Neil Walker would get his revenge. Wish we still had that bat in our lineup. We could sure use it to get rid of Gary.

Lasagna just can’t put hitters away. Reminds me of Phil Hughes. We need two more starters and three more relievers or we’re cooked come postseason.

Ump in this game ain’t any better than Angel. Gleyber has got to get going or Gio should be moved up to 3rd.
