Enjoy your final game with the Yankees, Cameron.
I do wonder if they’ll try and delay the inevitable and keep Maybin for a bit longer, while rotating the 8th reliever on the Scranton Shuttle. Holder has an option. We’ll know soon enough.

If the Yankees do move on from Maybin, I hope they can get some sort of trade value for him
The Original Drew
Teams know that the NYY Maybin isn’t the real Maybin. The Yankees won’t get anything more than cash considerations.
RetroRob
@TheOriginalDrew, yes. As I’ve noted elsewhere, Maybin was SLG .350 ten days ago, six weeks into his Yankee tenure. I love a good story and would like to believe Maybin has discovered something new, but I’ve watched too much baseball to know that’s not true. He’s serviceable. He’s on a hot streak, but he’s not a starter. The Yankees won’t get much for him.

Hi, Retro. Great to see you. @RobsYankees. is exiled. And waiting to hear from you.

Hi, Rob. I’m here, but our channel went AWOL!

It’ll be Nestor going down, I’m guessing.
Then they’ll see how things play out before they need another bull pitcher.
Joseph (@Hudstreet)
Cortes will pitch tonight and can be sent down after the game thus opening a spot for Maybin for at least another 5-6 days.
