DoTF: Stanton homers to start rehab stint

Notes

  • Oh, boy! Aaron Boone mentioned the possibility that Aaron Judge may join Giancarlo Stanton with Triple-A Scranton WB this weekend, which would be in Durham. They’re gonna crush at the Bull in left field!
  • In even more uplifting news, RHP Danny Farquhar will join Scranton as well and should get the chance to pitch in official professional games for the first time since his aneurysm last April.
  • There are changes coming to the Futures Game. It’s going into primetime on Sunday and will be seven innings of American vs. National League instead of USA vs. the World.
  • With Vladimir Guerrero Jr. exceeding rookie limits, Fernando Tatis Jr. is now the top prospect, according to Baseball America (subs req.). Deivi Garcia moves up to No. 93.

I love in NC so I try to catch a few Bulls games each year. Got tickets to see Scranton on Saturday. That decision is looking pretty good right now!
