DoTF: Sanchez singles to begin rehab assignment in Scranton

  • RHP Brian Keller was officially called up to Triple-A Scranton-WB, as was Tampa OF Omar Carrizales.
  • Gary Sanchez began his rehab assignment in Scranton while Thairo Estrada was in Baltimore today, though he wasn’t activated and will re-join the RailRiders without being added to the roster.

Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders: (12-2 loss to Charlotte) They are 64-51 and hold a 5.0 game lead in their division. Their magic number to clinch the division is 21.

    Wonder if Florial is completely healed from his injury. Looking like a down year. Hopefully he can re-establish his prospect status next year.

    What’s up with Sanchez and all these interference plays? Had never been an issue for him. Kind of odd.
